Interview on Super Texas Holdem - A Chance to Earn More

Hello, I'm Mike Shackleford from the Wizard of Odds , and I'm here at the 2017 table game conference where the latest innovations are being showcased. Paris Casino in Las Vegas .

Super Texas Holdem

Joining me is Alisa from High Variance Games , and today we’re going to discuss their latest creation, Super Texas Hold'em . Hi Alisa, could you please demonstrate how the game works and share some insights about it?

[00:00:27] Alisa: Super Texas Hold'em offers a unique and straightforward approach for players. Texas Hold'em Unlike traditional games, players can boost their bets up to twice as much instead of merely reducing their stakes with each card reveal.

This format is much more advantageous and provides an opportunity for players to increase their winnings significantly.

[00:00:46] Michael: Okay, sounds fun.

May I play a few hands?

[00:00:48] Alisa: Absolutely. Now, you can place your bets. The total of these two must match the blind and the ante. That's great! Each participant, including the dealer, receives two cards.

Now you have the option :

Depending on how confident you feel about your hand, you have the option to bet anywhere from your initial amount to three times that amount. It's really your choice. Now I'll burn one card and reveal three for the community board.

Now it's up to you…

…Just gauge your confidence for either doubling your bet or raising it to five times. Alright, let's deal the next card. Before showing the river, I present my hand: a two and a queen.

All right I have a pair of sixes

Your goal is simply to beat my pair of sixes—there are no qualifiers involved; the highest hand takes the pot. I have a pair of sixes, which unfortunately beats your ace high, so I win this round.

One more time

Each player receives two cards. Now, I’m burning a card and rolling out three for the community cards. Alright, I have kings with a ten high. All you need to do is beat my ten high.

Fantastic! You’ve won with your ace high, surpassing my ten perfectly.

[00:02:45] Michael: One more?

[00:02:46] Alisa: Yes. Flop out.

All right I have nothing

The only requirement is to either pair or exceed my seven. Well done, queen high! Your ante and blind will always pay out for any straight or higher, otherwise, the round will just push against the dealer.

[00:03:39] Michael: All right. Thank you.

[00:03:40] Alisa: Thank you so much.

[00:03:42] Michael: Alisa, I really appreciate you walking me through the game.

[00:03:44] Alisa: You're welcome.

[00:03:45] Michael: Okay. Bye everyone.
