Analysis of Wazdan Software & Review of 422 Online Casinos
On this page
Introduction
In my nearly two decades of experience writing about online casino software, I've encountered some of the quirkiest software from Wazdan. It appears that the developers might not have fully grasped the standard rules and offerings found in typical casino games. Their mathematical approaches also seem questionable, with odds varying widely from unfavorable to reasonably advantageous for players, assuming their stated rules hold true.
When considering the visual and audio aspects, Wazdan's offerings seem somewhat outdated and budget-conscious; although, there are certainly worse examples out there. The games are also frustratingly slow to load, despite the compact file sizes one would expect.
As far as I'm aware, there's currently only one casino that utilizes this software. If you're seeking cutting-edge casino games, it might be best to consider alternatives. However, if you are someone who enjoys a nostalgic gaming vibe or is simply looking for something that diverges from the usual offerings, you might find Wazdan's software appealing.
Regarding its history, Wazdan was established in the mid-2000s and operates out of Europe. The company tends to keep a low profile, which reveals something about its operational practices. While it isn't the most transparent organization we've come across, it's also not particularly evasive.

Table Games
Only two table games are on offer, and both are variations of roulette. It might lead one to draw certain conclusions.
Roulette
From my observations, Wazdan's two roulette games appear to be identical apart from their titles. They both operate with a single zero format, and unfortunately, they lack the French half-back rule. The house advantage stands at 2.78% on all bets placed in both games.
Keno
I find it unsurprising that Wazdan mixes up bingo with keno. Their 'Extra Bingo' is merely a simple variant of keno and does not resemble an actual bingo game by any means.
You may wonder about the relevance of the game's name; however, let's discuss the odds. They vary significantly—from as low as 71.9% for a 10-pick scenario to a high of 97.1% for a 3-pick. This illustrates that when playing Wazdan games, careful selection is crucial.
The following table outlines the payout structure and expected returns for all conceivable pick combinations.

Video Poker
Wazdan offers a selection of six video poker games, none of which follow the conventional format. Here is a brief overview of these games:
- American Poker Gold, American Poker V, and Joker Poker — These games utilize a non-standard 53-card deck that includes a joker. They seem to adhere to a German-esque rule where players must pay for both the initial deal and the draw, but only receive payouts based on their final hand. Detailed analyses of these games can be found on my dedicated page; players might expect an advantage of 16% per initial hand, assuming the dealing is fair, which I have doubts about. Joker Poker (German rules) Turbo Poker — Following a similar German rule, this game uses a traditional 52-card deck. However, instead of a 16% player advantage, it presents a daunting 41% house edge. I have suspicions that this game might be rigged, but it's difficult to know for sure. More insights can be found on my dedicated page.
- Magic Poker — To add to the complexity, Magic Poker also uses a 53-card deck and adheres to the German rule, allowing players two draws. Naturally, they must pay for both draws and the initial deal. There are added bonus elements for achieving multiples such as three of a kinds and four of a kinds. This game is undoubtedly the most complex to analyze I've encountered, as discussed in my previous pages; I suspect it might yield a significant player advantage, further solidifying my belief that the card dealing may not conform to standard probabilities. Turbo Poker .
- Three Cards — This game also follows the German rule of requiring the player to pay for the deal and draws, but it's distinct in that it only involves three cards. A standard 52-card deck is employed. While I could analyze this game, after the challenges of previous games like American Poker Gold, American Poker V, Joker Poker, and Turbo Poker, I am eager to delve into a more traditional poker game for a change. Lunar Poker Wazdan's slot machines are well-crafted, boasting impressive graphics, audio, and engaging gameplay. The majority of their titles feature the classic five-reel layout paired with exciting bonus rounds.
- What do you call a software development company that limits itself to just two table games, both of which are single-zero roulette? What term do you use for a company that requires players to pay for both the deal and the draw in every video poker title? What about a company that names its card games 'American' yet uses French cards? And consider a company whose slot offerings feel nearly three decades outdated? A company that provides games with house advantages varying from 41% down to a player advantage of 16%—that's how we describe Wazdan.
