Soul Reading
Just four days ago, to celebrate my 55th birthday, a dear friend gifted me a soul reading. Interestingly, the only detail provided to the reader was my name. Here’s the insight I received from that session.
Reading on Your Divine Soul Purpose by Michael Whitney Shackleford
Your soul functions as a cosmic architect, possessing invaluable knowledge and experiences vital for the creation of a new Earth. It’s likely you feel drawn toward a scientific path in this lifetime.
Your divine soul mission involves fostering grassroots changes on Earth and aiding in elevating humanity's collective vibration. However, achieving this requires more than just conventional thought processes.
Within your intuitive soul lies the wisdom needed to solve the challenging dilemmas your rational mind faces.
You emanate a vibrant blue energy conducive to communication, connecting you deeply with the universe's divine intelligence, accentuating the unique brilliance you possess.
You have brought forth a multitude of spiritual gifts and divine attributes into this existence, yet currently, they seem to be struggling for acknowledgment and space within your life.
It’s essential to cultivate an inner spiritual leader who can harmonize and organize this magnificent array of talents within you.
While we might believe in embracing divine guidance and its plans, mere belief isn’t sufficient. To truly transform doubts, you must connect emotionally with your divine essence, which can illuminate various areas of your life that long for divine intervention.
Another element of your divine purpose involves harnessing all your innate talents and transforming them into a cohesive team, which will then illuminate your soul's journey on this planet.
So, what steps can you take to facilitate the manifestation of your divine purpose on Earth?
It seems you possess a critical mind , which may be creating doubt and hindering your connection with your soul.
Be kinder to yourself and recognize when you're being overly critical. Acknowledge those thoughts without responding negatively.
By doing so, they will gradually dissipate, creating a more harmonious inner landscape and enhancing your connection to both your soul and the universe.
Once the critical voice finds serenity, your connection to your soul will strengthen. This, in turn, will significantly boost your soul purpose and pave the way for improved communication with the universe.
When the critical mind quiets, the soul's wisdom can come forward more prominently in your life. Ultimately, a successful interplay between your rational and intuitive minds is crucial; neither should dominate the other.
Invite your soul to take a more active role in your life simply by voicing your intentions. When your soul becomes more integrated into your daily experience, it brings the magic and energy necessary to unveil your spiritual journey and purpose.
You’ll notice a heightened presence of your soul through profound insights that transcend your rationale, and possibly physical sensations that indicate divine love is at work within you.

Catacombs of Paris
My perspective is that I maintain skepticism towards the existence of souls, but I also remain open to the possibility. In light of unverified concepts, I believe it’s wise to assume a negative stance until proven otherwise.
Some elements of this reading resonate with me, yet I feel anyone could receive such a vague insight and selectively affirm the parts that seem applicable, leaving one feeling validated. Who doesn’t wish to feel significant, as though the universe has a unique purpose for them?
Regarding this reading, here are some statements that resonate with me :
- The suggestion of wanting to be a scientist feels quite accurate. I believe I could have excelled in that role.
- I indeed enjoy challenging puzzles and often engage with them — ranging from simple problems to the incredibly complex. I believe some solutions to major unsolved mathematical questions, particularly around prime numbers, are right before us. For nearly a year, I was engrossed in solving those. Eternity II Puzzle I fully admit that I have a critical mindset, which tends to lead toward skepticism and doubt (two sides of the same coin, right?).
- I am exceptionally self-critical, and I don’t apologize for that trait. In my view, a more critical self-assessment could lead to a better world, as we should judge ourselves more sternly and others more kindly.
- Here are some thoughts I disagree with (or perhaps simply don’t recognize the truth in):
I dismiss the notion that I possess any kind of spiritual or divine talents. I consider myself a math enthusiast focused on promoting the application of mathematics in gambling contexts.
- I fundamentally reject the idea of having a so-called 'orchestra of greatness.' I see myself as an ordinary individual, one among countless others. I hope to give more to the community than I take, but I'd never make grand claims.
- How am I to invite my soul into my existence if I don’t believe it is real? I feel a stronger connection to those grounded in reality and fully embrace who I am. I acknowledge there’s room for improvement, and I am committed to challenging myself.
- All things considered, I find this soul reading to resemble an embellished fortune cookie. However, I could be mistaken. Regarding profound inquiries about existence and life’s meaning, I’m comfortable with embracing the unknown.
