Washington State Vacation

No, I didn’t happen to meet Edward. I had assumed he was perpetually a student there. I was looking forward to escaping the sweltering summer heat of Las Vegas for the cooler, overcast weather rumored to be filled with vampires, yet it seems I inadvertently brought the warm and clear weather from Vegas with me.

Regarding my trivia about Alaska, someone disputed my statement that the Anchorage airport was the most trafficked one in the U.S. during 2020. Unfortunately, I can't recall where I got that information. The rationale was based on Anchorage being the fourth busiest for air cargo, as planes on their way from Asia to the East Coast often stop to refuel there. While the pandemic drastically reduced passenger flights, cargo operations remained largely intact, which elevated Anchorage's position in terms of total takeoffs and landings. Nevertheless, I can't pinpoint my original source, so I might have been mistaken.
