It’s worth noting that while the Las Vegas area boasts around 100 casinos, there are only approximately 15 distinct groups of sports books. Comp Rebates
Compared to many other casino games, sports betting tends to have lower profit margins, which means most sports books reward players with only a modest percentage of their total sports bets as comps, if they offer any at all. There is a higher profit margin on races, so sports books can afford to be more generous in that category. The subsequent table illustrates the payout structures for various sports book families.
