Turbo Video Poker

Introduction

Turbo Video Poker is a game currently under patent, with 85% ownership held by me. At present, it is only available here . Please contact me for those interested in licensing the game.

Rules

  1. The game uses a single 52-card deck.
  2. With a wager of 1 to 5 coins, players are dealt one 5-card hand, allowing them to engage in a standard video poker experience.
  3. When betting 10 coins, players receive five hands from a single deal. These five hands (a total of 25 cards) are all drawn from the same deck.
  4. From the five hands received, players select one to keep, while the remaining four hands (20 cards) are returned to the deck.
  5. Players must now choose which cards they wish to hold from their selected hand.
  6. Replacement cards for discarded ones are dealt from the remaining 47 cards in the deck, culminating in the player's final hand.

Return

The table below displays the potential returns for playing 5-hand 8-5 Jacks or Better Turbo Video Poker. The payout is calculated per coin wagered, not including the additional fee of 5 coins. The return values reflect the product of the win, the associated probability, and a factor of 0.5, as players wager two units while being compensated based solely on one.

Strategy

The overall strategy mirrors that of regular video poker. I've a strategy for 9/6 jacks or better . The approach for 8/5 jacks is expected to align closely with this. This strategy can also guide players in selecting the initial hand by opting for the highest-ranked hand listed.
