Lucky Colour Chips
Introduction
The Lucky Colour Chips offer a unique twist in roulette with 37 side bets corresponding to each number from 0 to 36. To succeed, the roulette ball needs to land on your selected number, and the payout is influenced by a throw of three colored dice.
As of May 2022, I know of a single location where this game can be found, specifically within the Macau Casino Complex located in Cork, Ireland.
Rules
In roulette, each participant is assigned chips in a distinct color. For instance, if three people are playing, the first might have green chips, the second blue, and the third yellow. The value of these chips corresponds to the player's buy-in amount. For example, a player putting down $500 could receive 100 chips, each valued at $5.
The Lucky Colour Roulette accommodates up to six players, each equipped with chips that come in a limited selection of colors: red, orange, yellow, green, white, and blue.
- This game utilizes a traditional 37-number roulette wheel and allows for all standard betting options typically found in roulette.
- Additionally, there are 37 Lucky Colour bets available, each linked to a number ranging from 0 to 36.
- To win on a Lucky Colour bet, the ball must land on the chosen number.
- When a player wins, the payout odds are determined by the outcome of three six-sided dice.
- Each die features a distinct color on its sides: red, orange, yellow, green, white, and blue.
- The 'Winning Color' refers to the color of the chips that correspond to a victorious Lucky Colour Bet.
- If all three dice match the Winning Color, the winning bets will be paid at odds of 300 to 1.
- Bets will pay out at 70 to 1 if all three dice show the same color, provided it is not the Winning Color.
- If two dice match the Winning Color, the payout will also be at 70 to 1.
- In cases where two dice share the same color but it's not the Winning Color, the bets will pay at 40 to 1.
- A payout of 22 to 1 is given if all three dice display different colors.
Feeling puzzled? You're not alone; I had a hard time grasping this concept initially too. Let's go through an illustrative example. Imagine two players, one with blue chips and the other with yellow, both placing a Lucky Colour bet on the number 23. If the ball lands on 23 and the dice roll produces blue-green-blue, the player with blue chips wins at 70 to 1 odds since blue was their Lucky Color. Meanwhile, the yellow chip player receives a payout of 40 to 1 because two of the dice match in color but do not correspond to their Lucky Color (yellow).
