- If a player finds any suits or ranks are repeated, they have to discard the extras of their choosing to ensure that the remaining cards consist of unique ranks and suits, with a maximum of three cards left.
- Additionally, players strive to form the weakest cards possible. They adhere to the standard lowball poker rules, where aces are considered low and straights are not counted. The absolute lowest hand in this game is A-2-3-4, which includes one card from each suit.
- If no player manages to create a Badugi, then the prize goes to the player with the lowest three-card hand. Should nobody have a valid three- or four-card hand, the game will reward the best two-card hand. If that’s not available either, then the single lowest card will take the pot.
- In this game, the player with the lowest hand wins, with aces holding the highest value. Here, both straights and flushes are taken into account, meaning an optimal low hand would be 2-3-4-5-7 from at least two different suits.

Here, the winner is again the player with the lowest hand, but with aces considered the lowest rank. In this scenario, neither straights nor flushes affect the outcome. The most favorable hand would be A-2-3-4-5 regardless of the suits.

Playing Rules
- All players make an ante bet.
- The pot is divided between who has the strongest Badugi hand and who has the best low-ball hand.
- There is a round of betting.
- Each player in turn discards 0 to 5 cards.
- Repeat steps 3 and 4 two more times.
- Fourth round of betting.
- For evaluating the Badugi hand, any four of the five cards dealt to the player can be utilized.
