Roller Coaster Dice

Introduction

Roller Coaster Dice is an entertaining game available at various online casinos powered by advanced software. You'll typically find it in the Arcade Games section. Playtech In this game, players roll a pair of dice and then decide if the next roll will be higher or lower than the current result. If the roll totals six or lower, the choices are (1) equal to or less than the last number, or (2) greater than the last number. For a roll of seven, the options are (1) seven or lower, and (2) seven or higher. If the roll is eight or more, the choices switch to (1) equal to or greater than the last number, or (2) less than the last number.

Rules

If a player makes a wrong guess at any point, they instantly forfeit the game.

Upon reaching four correct guesses, the player can either cash out four times their bet and exit the game or continue playing.

If the player achieves six correct guesses, they have the choice to take home seven times their wager and end the game or keep going.

After getting eight correct guesses, they can take thirteen times their bet as a payout and end their play, or they can choose to persist.

Upon reaching ten correct guesses, the player will secure a payout of thirty times their initial bet, and the game will conclude.

When a player reaches a decision point, they maintain their last rolled total rather than proceeding with a random draw.

Analysis

Unlike Around the World At the first decision point, following four correct guesses, a player should stop if their last roll was between 5 and 9; otherwise, they should continue playing.

At the second decision point, after achieving six correct guesses, the player ought to quit if the last roll was between 6 and 8, or else they can keep going.

At the third decision point, after getting eight correct guesses, the player should opt to stop if the last roll was between 6 and 8; if not, they can continue playing.

In the image shared above, I rolled a 10 at my first decision point, prompting me to keep going. However, at the second decision point, I rolled a 7 and opted to cash out, which netted me seven times my original bet.

I was contracted by Playtech to assist in creating their entire lineup of Arcade Games, and I've obtained permission from them to share this analysis.
