Introduction
Around the World is a game featured in online casinos powered by specific software. You can locate it in the Arcade Games section. The game involves a wheel that has 52 positions, featuring numbers from 1 to 49 along with three unique positions. As players spin the wheel, they must predict if the subsequent number will be greater or lesser. The further a player goes while making correct guesses, the larger their potential winnings, reaching up to 105 times their initial wager. Below are the detailed rules. Playtech Gamblezen Casino has received a rating of 4.8 out of 5 Stars from players

The game consists of four levels, each containing seven progressive steps.
- At the start of each level, players begin from step one and must successfully navigate through to step seven, requiring a total of six advances per level.
- At the beginning of each level, a random number between 1 and 49 is generated and communicated to the player.
- During each step, players must predict whether the next drawn number will be higher or lower compared to the last one drawn.
- Subsequently, another random number will be drawn, with the potential for three unique scenarios elaborated in rules 10 to 13. These special instances will never occur at the commencement of a level.
- Except for the first step of any level, the same number cannot be drawn consecutively. This rule prevents any situation where a tie may occur.
- If players make an accurate guess about whether the next number is higher or lower, they will progress to the next step.
- An incorrect guess regarding higher or lower still allows the player to move to the next step but results in receiving a strike.
- Should a player accumulate two strikes during any level, the game ends immediately, and the player loses.
- Instead of guessing a number, a player has the option to 'advance one step.' In this case, they move to the next step without cost, although the number previously drawn will still count for the subsequent turn until they reach the seventh step.
- Alternatively, a player can choose to 'advance to the end of the level.' If they do this, they instantly move to step seven.
- If a player already possesses one strike, they have the option to 'remove a strike.' In this case, they will not progress a step.
- On the first turn of any level, all numbers have an equal probability of 1 in 49. For subsequent turns, all possible outcomes (remembering that drawing a repeat number is impossible) will have equivalent probabilities, except for options like 'advance to end of level' and 'strike removed,' which carry half the probability of other outcomes.
- If a player completes level one while incurring one strike, they receive back their initial wager, essentially pushing.
- Exiting level one with zero strikes results in a reward of 2.5 times the original bet.
- Provided that players reach the end of level one to three with one or zero strikes, they can choose to cash out or continue their betting strategy to advance to the next level. The decision must be made before the first number is drawn in the next level.
- At the close of all levels, should the player have accrued one strike, they will retain whatever balance they had at the start of the level.
- Successfully completing level two without any strikes results in winnings of three times the initial bet placed at that level. As with all games in this report, wins are calculated on a 'for one' basis, meaning the original stake is never returned.
- Completing level three while maintaining a zero-strike status grants the player winnings of 3.5 times their original bet placed at that level.
- If the player finishes level four without any strikes, their return will be four times their initial wager.
- Therefore, the largest win achievable by completing all levels without any strikes is calculated as 2.5 * 3 * 3.5 * 4, which equals 105.
In the example above, I was able to complete each level. However, during levels one, two, and four, I earned one strike (highlighted in red), resulting in only my original bet being returned. Conversely, I completed level three with no strikes, winning 3.5 times my bet. Thus, my total win amounted to $1 * 1 * 1 * 3.5 * 1 = $3.50.
Across each level, the probabilities for possible outcomes are as follows.
Analysis
The expected returns at various stopping points are outlined below:
- No strikes 18.95%
- One strike 38.21%
- Two strikes 42.84%
The table above indicates that the optimal strategy is to continue playing until reaching the end or losing in the process. By adhering to this strategy, players can expect a return of 96.95%, signifying that the house edge stands at 3.05%.
- Play to end of level 1 only: 85.58%.
- Play to end of level 2 only: 81.35%.
- Play to end of level 3 only: 85.04%
- Play to end of level 4: 96.95%.
