A significant pair consists of Aces, Kings, Queens, or Jacks: Position the smaller pair at the front.
For a substantial pair of 10s, 9s, 8s, or 7s: If feasible, put both pairs in the back; otherwise, put an Ace up front and split them.
For a strong pair of 6s, 5s, 4s, or 3s: If possible, put both pairs in the back; place a King or higher in front, or else split them.
Three Pair: Place high pair in front.
Three of a Kind:
When holding Aces: Have an Ace along with the next highest card at the front.
For Kings and lower: Position three of a kind in the back and the two highest cards in the front.
Two Sets: Position the pair from the higher set towards the front.
Straight, Flush, Straight Flush:
With No Pair: Position the two highest cards in the front while ensuring that a complete hand remains in the back.
With One Pair: Place the two best possible cards (whether they form a pair or not) in the front, leaving a complete hand in the back.
Special Case: If you have an Ace paired with Kings, Queens, Jacks, or 10s, place the Ace upfront while putting the pair in the back if the front hand can improve.
With Two Pair: Follow the two-pair strategy for optimal play.
With Three of a Kind: Keep the complete hand in the back and the pair at the front.
Full House : Position the highest permissible pair in the front.
Four of a Kind:
Aces, Kings, Queens, Jacks: Always split.
For 10s, 9s, 8s, or 7s: If you can, place four of a kind in the back; ensure you have at least a King in front or else split.
6s and below: never split.
For Four of a Kind paired with another pair (or Three of a Kind): Position that pair in the front.
Five Aces : Put a pair of Aces at the front unless you can place a pair of Kings in front instead.
