Good Guys Bad Guys

Introduction

Good Guys Bad Guys is a lighthearted and entertaining poker variant perfect for home games, although it’s unlikely to appear in official casinos.

Rules

1. Players make an ante wager.
2. The dealer begins by distributing five hidden cards to each participant.
3. Next, the dealer places ten cards in the middle of the table, arranged in two rows of five. The first row is designated as the 'Good Guys' while the second is referred to as the 'Bad Guys.'
4. Round of betting.
5. The dealer reveals one card from the Good Guys and one from the Bad Guys.
6. Players are required to discard any cards from their hand that have the same rank as the Bad Guy Card. The Good Guy card will serve as a shared community card.
7. Round of betting.
8. Repeat rules 5 to 7 four more times.
9. The winner is determined by who creates the strongest poker hand using their remaining hole cards along with all five community cards.
10. It's important to note that if the rank of a Bad Guy Card coincides with a Good Guy card, players can still utilize the Good Guy card as part of the community cards.
