Flushed

Introduction

Flushed began a field trial This event took place at the Stratosphere on February 2, 2021. The gameplay involves the dealer drawing cards from a standard deck of 52 until achieving a flush. Players can place bets on various aspects such as the color, suit, poker rank of the flush, and the number of cards needed to complete it.

Rules

The rules listed here pertain to the official game guidelines rather than the manner in which the game was played during my visit on February 5, 2021, which I found to be inconsistent.

  1. Only one shuffled 52-card deck is utilized for each round.
  2. Participants are required to place their bets as detailed below.
  3. The dealer will distribute cards one at a time.
  4. As each card is dealt, the dealer organizes it on a 4x4 grid based on its suit and tracks how many cards of that suit have been played.
  5. The dealer will cease dealing once one of the following criteria is met:
    • A specific suit reaches a total of five cards, signifying a flush.
    • A total of sixteen cards have been dealt and still no flush is achieved.
  6. If a flush is achieved, the dealer will settle winning bets according to the suit and poker value of the flush as well as how many cards were used.
  7. In cases where the dealer reaches 16 cards without forming a flush, all bets will be lost except for the wager on 17 cards, which must create a flush since there are already four cards in each suit.

The following chart outlines the 'inside bets' available, reflecting payouts on a 'to one' scale based on the total number of cards dealt.
