Bullfight

Introduction

Bullfight is a variant of Niu Niu , an engaging gambling activity that originated in South-East Asia, particularly in regions like Cambodia and southern China, which is referred to as 'bull bull' in English. In contrast to Niu Niu, this game resembles baccarat more closely. Players have the option to wager on either the Red Bull or the Black Bull to emerge victorious. Though there are no Double bets available, there are numerous side bets to be made. Continue reading for a complete overview of the game's rules. You can enjoy this game at online casinos featuring live dealers from Asia Gaming.

Rules

Following are the rules as dealt by Asia Gaming .

  1. One ordinary 52-card deck is used.
  2. The values of the cards align with those in baccarat, where aces are worth 1 point, cards numbered 2 through 10 hold their face value, and face cards count as zero.
  3. Similar to baccarat, when the total value of a set of cards exceeds 9 points, the value is adjusted by discarding the tens digit, leaving only the units digit as the relevant score.
  4. The primary bets in this game revolve around the Red Bull and the Black Bull.
  5. Each of the Red Bull and Black Bull hands is dealt a total of five cards.
  6. The dealer will arrange the cards in a way that maximizes the potential hand value for each side.
  7. Below is the order of hand rankings, listed from highest to lowest:
    • Five Calf — This consists of all cards valued from 1 to 4, with a collective value of ten points or fewer.
    • Bomb — Four cards of the same rank.
    • Gold Bull — All face cards.
    • Silver Bull — All cards zero points.
    • A three-card hand and a two-card hand that both result in zero points are referred to as a 'Niu Niu' in Chinese or 'Bull Bull' in English.
    • Bull 9 — The three-card hand is worth 9 points, and the two-card hand also carries a value of nine points.
    • Bull 8 — A three-card hand totals 8 points, while the two-card hand also equals eight points.
    • Bull 7 — This configuration has the three-card hand earning 7 points, and the two-card hand also reaching seven points.
    • Bull 6 — In this case, the three-card hand is valued at 6 points, with the two-card hand also reflecting a score of six.
    • Bull 5 — Here, the three-card hand tallies 5 points, paralleled by the two-card hand also achieving five points.
    • Bull 4 — The hand combination includes a three-card hand worth 4 points and a two-card hand of the same value.
    • Bull 3 — A three-card hand scoring 3 points matched by a two-card hand also at three points.
    • Bull 2 — This configuration features a three-card hand with a value of 2 points and a two-card hand also worth two points.
    • Bull 1 — The three-card hand holds 1 point, whereas the two-card hand matches this at one point as well.
  8. Distinct from Niu Niu, when both hands have identical rankings, the bets on Red Bull and Black Bull simply result in a push, rather than assessing the rankings of individual cards.
  9. Successful wagers on either the Red Bull or Black Bull yield a payout of even money, minus a 5% commission, which effectively amounts to 0.95 for every dollar bet.
