Straight 2 Flush
Introduction
Straight 2 Flush is an exciting blackjack side bet in Dynasty's electronic blackjack games, which pays out based on the poker values of the player’s first two cards along with the dealer's up card.
From a mathematical standpoint, this bet aligns with version 2 of another similar bet. 21+3 .
I encountered this wager at the Venetian in Las Vegas on October 6, 2021.
Rules
Payouts for the Straight 2 Flush bet are determined by the poker value of the player’s two cards and the dealer's up card, offering a 9 to 1 payout for combinations such as a straight, flush, straight flush, or three of a kind. For instance, I assume that a suited pair alongside a singleton counts as a flush, like suited 5-5-Q.
The table below presents my findings based on eight decks, treating a suited three of a kind as valid. The bottom right corner indicates a house edge of 2.74%.
