Highest Hand Bet
Introduction
The Highest Hand Bet is an additional wager available in the Dragonfish Jackpot blackjack game, where players can operate up to three hands. If the player places bets on two hands or more, they can choose which one will yield the highest total after the initial two cards are dealt.
Rules
- With at least two hands in play, the player is allowed to place the highest hand bet on a specific hand.
- For this side wager, all cards are valued in accordance with standard blackjack rules. Aces count as 11 points unless there are two aces, in which case they total 12 points.
- When there are exactly two hands, the Highest Hand bet pays out at 2 to 1 if the selected hand is a blackjack and 1 to 1 if it has the higher total compared to the other hand.
- For a situation where the player has three hands, the highest hand bet pays 7 to 2 if the selected hand achieves blackjack, and 2 to 1 if it has the highest total among the three hands.
- Any tie that does not involve a blackjack will result in a loss for the Highest Hand bet.
In the Dragonfish variant I explored, the game utilizes four decks of cards.
