Introduction
The Lucky 6 is an additional wager available in the commission-free baccarat version, which rewards 1 to 2 if the Banker’s total is six. This bet specifically pays out only in that scenario. My first encounter with the Lucky 6 was at the Venetian in Las Vegas on September 10, 2019. In some instances, this bet is referred to as the Tiger.
I've heard from an unofficial source that the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas also offers this bet, labeling it as the Bank 6.
Rules
Here are the rules as per the liberal payout table setup.
- If the Banker wins with a two-card total of 6, the Lucky 6 bet pays out at 12 to 1.
- In case the Banker secures a win with a three-card total of 6, the payout for the Lucky 6 bet is 23 to 1.
Conversely, the conservative payout table only awards 20 to 1 for a three-card Banker win totaling 6.
