Ask The Wizard #121
Wasn't Kiss Casino formerly associated with Boss Media? If that's true, what are my chances of obtaining their welcome bonus again with their current gaming platform?
Indeed, Kiss Casino was previously a Boss Media establishment. I believe there's a strong likelihood that you could reclaim the welcome bonus. I’ve posed as a new player when a casino updated its software several times in the past, and each time it has been successful for me.
What was your method for calculating 2072 as the total number of straight flushes using four cards out of five in Four Card Poker?
Initially, I divided straight flushes into two categories: those composed of four consecutive suited cards and those with five cards. The quantity of five-card straight flushes is calculated as the number of suits multiplied by the number of possible spans (with ace to 10 as the minimum card), resulting in 4*10 = 40. For four-card straight flushes, there are 11 distinct spans (counting ace to jack as the low card). In the case of A234 and JQKA straight flushes, the fifth card can be selected from 47 options (52 cards minus the 4 already accounted for and the fifth card that would complete a five-card straight flush). This gives us 4*2*47=376 straight flushes for spans A234 or JQKA. For the other nine spans, there are 46 choices available for the fifth card (52 minus the 4 already counted and excluding 2 cards that would form a five-card straight flush). Hence, the straight flushes spanning from 2345 to TJQK amount to 4*9*46=1656. Thus, when adding these together, the total number of four-card straight flushes sums up to 40 + 376 + 1656 = 2072.
I strongly believe that the owner of blackjackwealth.com deserves to be blacklisted. I mentioned to him that I could find the same information he offers in his 'system' for free on your site. Additionally, he refuses to issue me a refund, which is unusual for credible sellers. He WOULD issue a refund, but only if I provide evidence from a gaming log showing that I lost money while following his 'guidelines'. He even ridicules me in his emails each time I inquire about a refund. Take a look at the system I accessed for nearly $20 and determine for yourself whether it's genuinely worthwhile.
I appreciate you granting me access to read this guide, but I cannot disclose it here. Essentially, this product promotes the idea of hopping from one online casino to another, taking advantage of new player bonuses while playing basic strategy in blackjack. The basic strategy chart appears to have been copied from my own website. Some value does exist in his compilation of bonus offerings, which are freely available elsewhere, but that is the extent of it. Taking advantage of online casinos for bonuses has become common knowledge in the advantage play community. Back in the year 2000 or prior, this strategy was very profitable, but it has become more challenging now due to decreasing bonuses and stricter play requirements. I haven't established a blacklist for such practices yet, but I’m considering doing so. I'm sorry to hear you spent $20 unnecessarily, but I hope this notification brings you some satisfaction.
What is the house edge in solitaire?
I’m not sure. If you discover any information, please let me know. I'm particularly curious because Cryptologic two new variants of Klondike solitaire have just been released by casinos.
The Daniel Rainsong challenge was an interesting read. After some contemplation, I've come to the conclusion that: 1. Daniel desired a professional evaluation of his system to verify if it had a positive expectation. 2. He decided that betting $2000 for a potential win of $20000 was clearly a better option than simply compensating someone [like yourself] to assess his 'procedure'. I’m not aware of your rates for game analysis, but I’m certain it would exceed $2000 in this scenario. If that’s the case, utilizing the Wizard’s Challenge turned out to be a very clever decision, regardless of how slim the chance of success was. Furthermore, your choice to undertake the challenge and refrain from surrendering was an even more astute move! The ultimate irony is that this account may lead to an increase in poorly conceived systems. What’s your take on it?
I proposed a straightforward no-bet evaluation to Mr. Rainsong for $1000, but he declined. He was convinced of his winning potential. Interestingly, the less substantiated evidence available, the more fervent the belief among proponents. My fees for analyzing most games exceed $2000, yet this was merely a simulation. My task was simply to adjust my existing blackjack simulator to accommodate the rules of his procedure. Unsurprisingly, Mr. Rainsong has attracted numerous interested buyers for his system, despite its failure to pass my assessment. All I can do is share the truth regarding the longevity of effective systems. What the public chooses to do with my insights is entirely up to them.
